Fate of Hoggle
So I saw the awful picture of destroyed Hoggle who was kept at the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Alabama and I decided to research it more. In some ways I think it might have been better for Hoggle to be given a peaceful death because the CEO of the company sent Hoggle in for repairs and I really do not think despite all good intentions the doll hospital did a very good job. T_T it looks so splotchy and airbrushed! http://www.sowatzka.com/gary/hoggle.html I only hope that they had backup Hoggles and this one wasn’t the only one.
Edit by FYLabyrinth: Yes, the fate of Hoggle is something that has been much lamented within our fandom =(. I’m sure Jim Henson rolls over in his grave every time it comes up. I’m not sure if there was more than one “Hoggle” used in the film, but I am always appalled when I think of the condition they allowed him to fall into.
